Rival House harkens to an era when social clubs were celebrated neighborhood institutions, serving up interactive entertainment, delicious foods and an enviable selection of beers and cocktails, all in a captivating vintage-industrial space. Why not keep the rivalry going and book your event in our Rival Room or buy out the entire Rival House and have our entire staff at your disposal.
At Rival House you have multiple options for your group of 1 to 130 people. First, decide if you would like semi-private event, private event or buy-out of the entire space.
All food and beverage must be purchased and prepared through our culinary team at Rival House. The only exception will be cakes for special events from a licensed baker. Should you wish to provide your own cake, there is a $1.50 per person fee for cutting, plating and clearing the cake.
Our large party menu can be provided to you by our private dining specialist based on your event needs. In some scenarios, our regular menu can be used in the Rival Room space depending on group size for lunch and dinner. Should you wish to host a breakfast event in the Rival Room, a banquet menu will be provided. However, enhancements such as flowers, draft beer growlers for the table, special wine and Champagne can be requested for an additional fee. Please let us know any special requests and our staff will do their best to accommodate you.
Part of the action at Rival House are the games. The board games are always free of charge and can be checked out at the hostess desk.
Only Rival House buy-outs will have exclusive use of all board, electronic and ping-pong table games, for all other events, games are based on availability at first come-first serve basis. Each game is $.50 – $1.00 per game.
The Ping Pong tables are included in the rental of the Rival Room, some events will require the removal of the tables to accommodate the event.
Rival House Sporting Parlour does not charge a room rental fee, provided that a minimum of amount of spend on food and beverage is reached for each event. All taxes, service fees and non-food and beverage enhancements including audio visual do not apply toward the minimum.
The Rival Room is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Rival House restaurant is available for semi-private and private events beginning with lunch at 11:00am daily until Close on Sunday – Saturday. The space will be held on a first come first serve basis. Only private events will require a deposit and will be confirmed when the deposit is received.The Rival Room will also be based on first come first serve basis and can only be reserved with a deposit as a private event.
We do not charge rental for the Rival Room and Rival House Restaurant buy-outs however, a food and beverage minimum does apply. Please contact Bridget at Bridget.Scheidt@Hilton.com to discuss the minimum. Should your event not meet the agreed food and beverage minimum, the difference will be added to your final bill. Food and beverage minimums do not include, tax, service charge, A/V rental, parking or any other miscellaneous charges.
State and City Tax on food is 7.625%; State and City Tax on Liquor is 9.725%. A service charge of 22% is added to your final bill and is taxable. Taxes and service charges are subject to change without advance notice.
A deposit of 20% of your food and beverage minimum and a credit card on file will be required to confirm your event. The deposit will be deducted from your bill at the conclusion of the event. Final payment must be paid via cash or credit card; we ask that you pay with no more than 4 cards. Should you wish to pay via check, 100% of the estimated charges are due 7 days prior to your event.
For a full refund of your deposit, cancellation notice must be submitted via email to Bridget.Scheidt@Hilton.com no less than 15 days before the event. You must receive a return email confirming the cancellation was received. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will forfeit the deposit. Cancellation within 72 hours of the event will result in full charge of the minimum food and beverage guarantee. Should Rival House be able to re-sell the space, we will return you the difference between the guaranteed minimum and the deposit.
No wall decorations including banners, signs or wall clings requiring adhesive or tacks, confetti or glitter are allowed. You are permitted to provide your own linens, centerpieces and floral arrangements.
You are welcome to use the self parking facility at the numerous ramps that are skyway connected to the building and metered street parking. We can supply you with neighborhood parking document for rates and locations. Should you wish to host parking for your group, we are able to arrange billing of parking passes through Standard Parking at the Town Square Ramp, the hotel does not own or manage the parking facility therefore discounted parking is not available. Arrangements for hosted parking must be confirmed 72 hours prior to the event to ensure proper coordination with Standard Parking.
Guests will be held liable for any unusual damage beyond normal wear and tear.
