Rival House Sporting Parlour is hosting its first-ever beer dinner with Tin Whiskers Brewery at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 in the Rival Room, located at 411 Minnesota Street, St. Paul.
Guests will enjoy a delicious five-course meal prepared by Rival House Executive Chef Andy Vyskocil and paired with 5 oz. beer tastings from Tin Whiskers Brewery.

Five Course Menu
The dinner will start with grilled house-made cranberry sage pork sausage with a wild rice cake and Tin Whiskers Flipswitch IPA mustard. Paired with Flipswitch IPA.
The second course is a corn fritter served with whipped spiced honey, roasted apples and Hooks Paradise blue cheese. Paired with Tin Whiskers Ampere Amber.
The salad includes a special 7 spiced seared Berkshire pork belly with heirloom tomato-arugula, cider vinaigrette, and soft cooked egg yolk. Paired with Roasted Spiced Apple Ampere Amber Firkin.
The main course is the signature smoked and braised beef brisket, served with creamy gruyere polenta, horseradish pan gravy and brown butter sautéed Swiss chard. Paired with Tin Whiskers Wheatstone Wheat.
And finally, the dessert course is a black velvet chocolate cake with cardamom whipped cream and crackerjack crumble with cream cheese ice cream. Dessert will be paired with a special Tin Whiskers Short Circuit Stout cocktail which will be announced the night of the dinner.
